Naoki Matsuura

Managing Director

1982年、バークリー音楽大学在学中よりプロミュージシャンとして活動を開始。ボストン等のニューイングランド地方を中心に活躍。1990年、日本に帰国し、ローランド株式会社に音楽プロデューサーとして入社。ローランド時代には、1000曲を超えるMIDIデータを制作。1995年、有限会社プレストを設立し、TV番組、ゲーム、ラジオ、ホームページ、携帯電話など、様々な用途向けに、音楽とグラフィック・コンテンツを提供する。2001年、超精密部品のマーケティングディレクターとして株式会社樹研工業に入社。

Eric Stach, Ph.D

CHIEF SCIENTIST

Professor Stach is one of the founders, co-owners and technical leaders of the company. In this role, he helps to set technical direction and strategy. He is also a Full Professor at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Material Science and Engineering. His research group page can be accessed here. His research interests focus on the development and application of electron microscopy techniques to solve materials problems in catalysis, energy storage, thin film and nanostructure growth, and materials deformation. Daan Hein Alsem, Ph.D

DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND ENGINEERING

Dr. Alsem is the Director of Research and Engineering at Hummingbird Scientific. He has two decades worth of research and development experience with in-situ and analytical transmission electron microscopy, electron microscopy-centered experimentation, and microscopy methods and hardware development. After acquiring his Ph.D. at UC Berkeley, Dr. Alsem worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s National Center of Electron Microscopy. He previously also held an Affiliate Assistant Professor position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington. LinkedIn Profile
