Vacuum Tip Cover
Every Hummingbird Scientific TEM holder comes with a standard tip cover for basic protection. But when the holder is stored under normal atmospheric conditions, its tip may absorb some ambient contaminants. For maximum protection, Hummingbird Scientific also offers an optional vacuum tip cover.
The vacuum tip cover fits over the end of the holder and can be attached to a pump using the included vacuum line. Once the tip reaches the desired pressure, simply close the tip’s vacuum valve and remove the pumping line.
